Speakers

We carry a whole range of speakers in stock so we can cater for all budgets and vehicles. We deal with all major brands including Rainbow, Focal, JL Audio and MTX. Speakers come in all shapes and sizes from 4 inch round through to 6.5 inch and 6 x 9 inch speakers to 5 x 7inch. We also stock a wide range of speaker supports and rings so if you choose to have a larger speaker or in some cases they are required to change the speakers due to the car we can fit with the minimal amount modification if any.

Changing speakers greatly enhances any sound in you vehicle.

There are 3 main types of speakers:

Dual Cone - Most cars come with these type of speakers as standard. They are our entry level speaker and come in many shapes and sizes as many manufacturers do make a like for like replacement for factory speakers. They are our budget range of speakers and prices start from as little as £19.99 a pair.

Coax Speakers - In our opinion this is an ideal starting platform for replacing speakers, they consist of a pair of speakers which have the midrange and tweeter built into one. Available in 2 way, 3 way and even 4 way in some sized speakers. This is an ideal choice if you want to keep the budget low and but upgrade the sound. These are more widely known for the 6 x 9 range of speakers that mainly fit to parcel shelves.

Component Speakers - For the best sound this style of speaker is paramount. These speakers come in 3 parts you have the Midrange, then a separate tweeter followed by a crossover. The cross over filters the sound between the two so only the high tones go through the tweeters and the lower tones go through the midrange. This gives you an over all clearer sound and optimum listening positions. The tweeter is usually fitted depending on vehicle near the A pillar of the vehicle but this is all discussed with the customer first.

The reason for having an amplifier - Adding one will greatly enhance the sound and quality from your speakers. An amplifier generates the power to drive the speakers. We stock various quality makes of amplifiers such as JL Audio, Focal, MTX and Genesis. Varying in different power handling to cater for what you need it for. An amplifier is not just for loud music for the younger market, it enhances the clarity a speaker gives, for example if you have a multimedia system when listening to a film it gives better viewing pleasure.
